Fivelements is located on the banks of the River Ayung only 10km for center Ubud constructed mostly from local bamboo. The location, where Fivelements is sat, is a sacred land and is full of healing energy. Apparently, the land is centered around a holy spring that marks the intersection of eight major energy lines.
It would take me quite time to mention all the awards they own. Fivelements is considered one of the region’s most peaceful and healing sanctuaries. It is an eco-conscious wellness retreat in Bali offering Balinese and Asian healing traditions, raw vegan gourmet cuisine and mind-body sacred arts. Recently, Fivelements opened its doors in Hong Kong as a holistic sports wellness center.
As a holistic spa and retreat, food is a key part in Fivelements. No matter if you are staying at the hotel or just came for a spa day and dining experience, it would leave you speechless. The philosophy behind is to provide the most rejuvenating foods possible with Raw vegan meals presented in a gourmet style by the Chef. And I tell you something, the food tastes incredible!! You can choose of 3, 5 or 7 courses menus. We had only the 3 courses menu before the spa experience.
The atmosphere in general is amazing. All over the resort you are surrounded with lush tropical ponds. For the spa treatments, as well as for the food, they only use fresh ingredients, most of them, are cultivated in their own medicine gardens. There is a separate room at the spa building where they prepare all the ingredient for the treatments. I call it “The Spa Kitchen”. We saw how they cold pressed the coconut oil and cut in slices the ginger, orange and lime they used later for our bath.
It’s my second time at Fivelements and I always have the Fivelements Sakti Ritual . It lasts 2 hours and it begins with a floral foot bath, following with a deep muscle relaxation body massage, a re- mineralizing crystal sea salt exfoliation infused with holy basil and lemongrass and finishing with a revitalizing bath ritual composed of five powerful healing ingredients: lemongrass to activate blood circulation, Balinese orange and lime for essential vitamins, and pandan leaves and ginger to awaken our senses and clear the head. The bath ritual takes place outside the treatment room by the river with ginger pandas tea.
