Who has never dreamed on a holiday in Saint-Tropez? As the embodiment of the ideal vacation and a luxurious lifestyle, the Côte d’Azur is everyone’s dream.
Côte d’Azur is one of the jewels of French tourism and the Mediterranean itself. The combination of the mountains and the sea makes it a truly unique destination with beautiful landscapes.
The name Côte d’Azur comes from a book by Stephen Liénard published in 1888 in which the author invented the expression as an analogy to his native Côte d’Or or Golden Coast. But the Côte D’Azur’s reputation multiplied by leaps and bounds in 1956 with the film, “And God created Woman” by Roger Vadim, who created not only the myth of Brigitte Bardot but the mythical scenery of the Côte d’Azur and especially the famous bay of Pampelonne. And here, near the magnificent village of Ramatuelle overlooking the bay, we found a place which celebrates and revitalizes this myth in total simplicity.
Villa Marie is a property hidden in a 3 hectare pine grove overlooking the Bay of Pampelonne. It is a completely haven of peace and an ideal place to enjoy all the excitement of Saint-Tropez without being surrounded by the madness. The hotel is all beauty and pleasure. It is, without a doubt, one of the premier resort destination in legendary St. Tropez which I totally recommend you to check yourself in, pronto!
From the moment of our arrival, the discreet terra-cotta-tiled compound surrounded by pine-dotted gardens feels more like a private villa than a hotel.
Even when you arrive into the entrance, the beautiful grid is close as if you were going to drive into your own property. Once you drive up to the main entrance, the fountains, pines and facade will make you doubt if you just landed in the South of France or in Italy.
The gardens aspire to the Dolce Vita, that art of living every moment to the full in the greatest possible luxury and comfort. For three days, we were living la Dolce Vita in an atmosphere of a chic private italian style home that proposes a serene and peaceful vision of luxury.
The pool refresh the heat of summer and the view of the ocean for almost every corner of the villa, reinforces the impression of being alone in the world. The feeling of being alone in the world is a luxury that none can fail to appreciate.
It offers 45 rooms and suites. Each room has its own atmosphere and unique decor. The decor adds an extra dimension to the bliss and sophisticated lifestyle enjoyed in this enchanting setting. Warm colors and vintage objects are combined to create a surprisingly result.
For our stay we checked-in to a Prestige Room. A beautiful bright room with a private balcony overlooking the sea. Romantic as can be. Absolutely no attention to detail is overlooked, with a lush corner sofa, lavanda color linen. Mini bar, a boudoir style bathroom open to the room with claw-foot bath and all kind of bath amenities from their signature spa brand, PURE ALTITUDE.

On our arrival, we had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant located by the pool with impeccable views. After lunch, we went back to our room to rest a bit. At night, we decided to stay and dine at the restaurant as they set up an idyllic space with nice music, exquisite cuisine that creates a proper romantic dining scene.
Thanks to their concierge service, we got a brand new vespa to explore St. Tropez for the rest of our stay. We had lunch at the famous Le Club 55 and dinner at the iconic Brasserie des arts. Villa Marie offers shuttle free or charge available form 8am to 11:30pm on request from/to the village.
